What is a Mom to Do?
Okay, Grace and I went to church yesterday by ourselves because Christopher was on his big hunting weekend and Duncan was at the farm, no problem right? PROBLEM!!! When the soon to be 4 year old decides and promises to sit quietly in big church so you don't have to sit alone(she knows what to say so you think she really cares) and that lasts all of about 5 minutes!!! I gave the "look" and many times so sweetly saying "we must be quiet in church, color you coloring book." Only to be looked at with the devilish look of what are you going to do about it? She knew I couldn't do anything in the middle of church. I was so embarrassed!!! I had to take her out during the sermon because she was talking constantly and yelling "I don't want a spanking Mommy!" So, I promptly removed her and took her to the nursery. After church, when I picked her up she was so happy and said, "Guess What Mommy?" "I was really good in small church!" That would be the nursery! All I could say was I am very proud of you for finally listening-now we need to work on big church!

It was Bound to Happen!!
First Dance Lessons

Grace started dance a few weeks ago, but I am just getting around to updating my blog.
Here she is in my classroom getting ready to go. I need to take some pictures next week of her in her tap and ballet shoes. I got to watch her class this past Thursday. They had a open day where parents can watch-they only do this twice a year, so I was really excited about it! She is the youngest student in class and of course, the most beautiful!!!! She did pretty good and I had tears in my eyes as soon as she began dancing. I cannot believe my baby is growing up so fast. Time is going by way tooo fast. Hold on to your babies girls!!!

Posh Tots
Okay, I know my taste can be expensive sometimes.... But this catalog is CRAZY!!! I got one of these in the mail today. I found so many cute thing like this pirate ship!
Duncan and Grace would love this pirate ship, unfortunately with its price tag of $52,000, it won't be dropping anchor in our yard anytime soon!
That is unless we win the lottery or something-NOT!!!

September 11th

It is so hard for me to believe that it has been 7 years since that awful day. I will never forget what I was doing and the fear that came over me even though I was so far away from New York. I could feel all the heartbreak of those there and the loss that they were going to experience. I happened to walk into the library and wondered why the ladies were so quiet and watching the TV. The next thing I see is the 2nd plane hitting the tower. I just screamed and ran to my room to call Christopher. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who lost a friend, husband, wife, or loved one. That day there were so many people who sacrificed their own lives for others and that is what makes Americans so wonderful. Despite all the loss there were so many who lived because God had his angels at work. Today I pray for all those who are hurting. God Bless America!!!
